Ideas: Market Research perhaps?

I had an idea to do some market research. This is because we (the group) are always saying that this is good for children and that this is what children want, but as young adults, with no small children in our care we do not know for sure. I think it would be advantageous if we put together a small questionnaire that we could give to children that we knew. It would have things like circle which panda is your favorite and then display three different styles of panda. It would also have things like what are your favourite three colours, circle your favourite background ect ect. I think it would give us information which would enable us to make accurate and better decisions as to what children want.
