After recording my experience after shaving my legs the second time, concentrating on trying to pick up more smells and tastes I picked out all the important sensory experiences. I Used specific words and phrases to communicate the experience.
Sight:
-Blue
-Small droplets
-Two pools
-Blades down
-Gooves
-Square grooves
-6 or 7 times
-Cuts a line about 3 cm wide
-19 times on both legs
-3 Green sponge like dots
Smell:
-Small vanilla smell
-Warm smell
-Assaults the nostrils
Touch:
-Warm
-Bumpy yet smooth
-Sucks my finger in
-Spongy and springy
-Rough edges
-Slimy and Mushy
-Squeeze my hand making an impression in the soap
-Slightly like a cactus
-Feels sharp
-Slight pressure
Taste:
-Droplets taste soapy
-Not a clear/clean taste
-Cool
-Soap tastes sour
-Slightly burning
-Adding water adds metal
-Froths up
Hear:
-Slapping noise
-Watery and repetitive
Other:
-Confined
-Sensual and casual
-Mind numbing and quick
I tasted more of the experience this time which gave me another side of what happens when I shave my legs. Because of this I did not pick up on sounds or very many smells. There were not many smells last time either. I think this may be because there are very limited smells in the shower because of the steam. I also noticed that shaving my legs felt confined and was also a very quick experience, while not sensory I felt it important to mention as it was part of the overall experience.
