Textures

Because our art style was to be textured it was decided that it would be great if we sourced our own textures instead of making them in photoshop or finding them on the internet. To do this we got out a camera and went to Global Fabrics on Ghuznee Street and asked to take photos of their fabrics.

We took close up, high quality photos so that the quality of the texture was not lost when it was put on a 100px by 100px character. Before we went we brainstormed what textures we would need in order to be as efficient as possible, this included needing varying textures for the trees, leaves and bushes, brown textures for branches and woods, and varying couloured textures for our animals.
